Our Mission

A Place to Thrive

Build Community

Providing a supportive, affordable living community is our primary mission. Let's offer a bit of heaven here on earth, a place for our young adults to call home.

Social Engagement

Providing social opportunities for young adults living with disabilities to make friends and build healthy relationships.

Supportive Employment

We are working to provide supportive employment opportunities for young adults to gain valuable skills and earn a fair wage here in Cherokee County.

Meeting Information

Circle of Friends meets on the first Thursday of every month. Currently, during the Covid pandemic we have temporarily suspended our meetings.

What can you expect at a Circle of Friends meeting?

  • An ongoing planning process is always being worked on. Our primary focus is developing a supportive, affordable intergenerational living community
  • Multiple young adults with disabilities that are interested in engaging with others
  • An extracurricular activity is offered for the young adults such as music therapy and SawDust woodworking occupational therapy

Circle of Friends also meets on the third Thursday of each month for a social outing. Family members are always invited too. Our young adults enjoy doing activities such as:

  • Dinner and Movie
  • Bowling
  • Braves Games
  • Art Paint Night
